Recent Akron Beacon Journal articles imply the Ohio Ed/First Energy rates will be doubling in the June time period and customers will need to make critical decisions to keep the electricity charges as low as possible. “Opt Out” It is important that residents who do not wish to participate in the NOPEC Electric Aggregation programs…. must “Opt Out”. Residents will receive letters from NOPEC There are 3 virtual meetings scheduled by NOPEC to clarify new Electric Aggregation issues that will be coming up in the near future.
